How To Take a Screenshot on Windows 11 (Easy Way)

Windows 11 comes with a snipping tool

1. To take a screenshot , press Windows + Shift + S (at the same time)

2. Top of the window ,four options will be displayed:-

a. Rectangular Snip

b. Freeform Snip

c. Window Snip

d. Fullscreen Snip

Rectangular Snip - Draw a rectangular shape on the screen to capture the screen

Freeform Snip - Draw a shape using freeform on the screen to capture the screen

Window Snip - The current window will be captured

FullScreen Snip - Full Screen will be captured.

When the screenshot captured using snipping tool, a pop up will be displayed  'Snip copied to clip board . Select here to mark up and share the image'

click on the image captured , image will be opened in snipping tool.

Click on save button to save the image to your directory
